i am trying to move beyond scarves (i have way too many now). i have 3/4 of a sock (having done the hard part!!) and i am trawling through knitting patterns and searching for my first jumper etc... i think you should give it a go - i'm pretty sure it's not as hard as it looks. lets hold hands and jump off together! l x ps - once i manage to save up for the wool that is ;-)
if you are not already a member of ravelry, you should join. once there you can access millions of patterns and the other good thing is that you can put filters on the pattern searches so you can find easy knits. there are some great things out there. and, with the help of youtube, you can generally get help with any difficult things - perfect! my biggest problem is affording the wool :( l x
